It's been far too long since I posted for my liking! Today there are 5 videos and I think in a couple of them you'll be able to tell what's wrong with my keyboard. If you didn't notice..AWESOME! X3 One key plays louder than the rest of them in case you were curious to know. And I can never tell when it will happen either.
Started listening to a new visual kei band named LIN. They like Versailles in a way. Meaning, the song style and the costumes. I got the Independent MAZE album and it's a-MAZE-ing. ahaha see what I did there? I just made a TERRIBLE joke! -_-'
Also started watching a new tv show - Grimm. Hunting down demon-like monsters? HELL YEA! I highly recommend that show to anybody who's interested in creepy, mystery action tv shows. ^^
And now for the music!
Wanted to start this off with one of the longer ones I played today. And most difficult of the 5. Uninstall by Chiaki Ishikawa. This is the opening song for Bokurano...and anime I don't recall actually finishing. I know I was close to finishing it though and I also remember losing interest 'cos I started watching Elfen Lied, Loveless, and Spice + Wolf. Only finished the first two of those as well. Too many on my anime plate? *nods* Yes, I believe so. lol. I digress..this arrangement is by Thayne Bohman and you can find a lot of awesome sheet music on Thayne's website. ^^
Next two are by Kalafina, a trio whose music I became obsessed with after hearing the ending and insert songs from Kuro Shitsuji, as well as the ending theme from Eve no Jikan [Time of Eve]. I highly recommend ALL their albums! And if you like them, you'll probably also like FictionJunction and Yuki Kajiura's other works. First song is called "haru wa ougon no yume" and is from Kalafina's Red Moon album. The next one is also off the Red Moon album and is an insert song in Kuro Shitsuji. That one is called "kagayaku sora no shijima ni wa". Both arrangements are from the Kalafina piano sheet book and I got it from CD Japan.

Chrono Crusade. I know I said this a lot, but this is a game that I haven't played. I'm told that it's one of the best games my friend has ever played. I'm *pretty* sure they don't make this for the PS3 and besides, my RPG playing days are over. I'll just stick with the music. This song though, Sayonara Soltaire by Saeko Chiba, is FANTASTIC! I've been looking for an arrangement of this for almost FIVE YEARS!! You can imagine my reaction when I saw it on Stockburn78's channel. The arrangement is by Dave Peppiatt.
I was in my high school choir. For one year. Only. LMAO. I had taken music class in my senior year and was told that I'd lose participation marks or something if I didn't join choir. And that is what I did. I don't regret it though. It was actually fun. I was even on the radio playing the piano accompaniment for Little Drummer Boy when our choir went to Hotel Vancouver to sing Christmas carols! Wow, was that ever stressful! Good thing that song was mega-easy. lmao. Another thing was that I was asked to be an instrumentalist for the school play that the Drama club (or class..I forget which) was doing. Secret Garden. I still had some of the sheet music so I thought I'd play it for you listeners. I wasn't the pianist for the play, if that's what you were thinking. I was just the keyboard player who just played the chords over the piano and violin to...make it sound..fuller? I have no idea, honestly. lol. I also got to play the chimes at certain parts of the songs. You know, the glisten-y chimes that you hear in some songs? Yea..THAT. So here's the exit music for that play.
Looks like I've made this blog long enough. No more words from me. lol. Thanks for listening and watching! ^^
